About Author

I practiced law for 30 years, as a general practitioner, prosecutor, criminal defense attorney and AdmiNew Blog photo-002nistrative Law Judge.

My vocation as a Lay Dominican created an insatiable desire to learn, study, live and share my Faith. For more than ten years I led a Prison Ministry program and have spent more then fourteen years promoting Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, serving as coordinator of that devotion in my former parish. I always wanted to write and share these experiences but never seemed to have the time when I was working. All that changed unexpectedly in 2009 when I retired.

My written articles have been published in Homiletic & Pastoral Review, The Catholic Sun, a weekly diocesan newspaper, on Catholic Exchange.com CatholicLane.com, CatholicOnline, Catholic Writers Guild Blog, and Zenit.org. Two of my books (I Thirst For Your Love and Forgotten Truths To Set Faith Afire! have been awarded Seals of Approval by the Catholic Writers’ Guild.

In addition to I Thirst For Your Love, I have published four other books: Forgotten Truths To Set Faith Afire! – Words to Challenge, Inspire and Instruct, Fleeting Glimpses of the Silly, Sentimental and Sublime, and Pondering Tidbits of Truth (Volume 1) and Pondering Tidbits of Truth (Volume 2).

I acquired my healthy sense of humor and my love for the Catholic Faith from my deceased Dad and Mom and employ both frequently, sometimes to the joy and at other times to the consternation of those closest to me.

When not writing, pursing a newly discovered interest in photography, or spending time before the Blessed Sacrament, I enjoy experiencing the pleasures of this earthly life with my  loving wife Lonnie, our three children, their spouses and four grandchildren.
