Promoting Bellef In, and Reverence For, the Holy Eucharist

My Jesus, Present in the Eucharist

My Jesus, truly present in the Eucharist,

You who were conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary,

Who caused your cousin John to stir in the womb of St. Elizabeth,

Who were born in Bethlehem and adored by shepherds and magi,

Who brought joy to Simeon and Anna at your Presentation,

Who were found in the Temple when you were twelve,

Who were Baptized by Your cousin John in the River Jordan,

Who transformed water into the finest wine,

Who healed the sick and preached the coming of the Kingdom of God,

Who were Transfigured atop Mount Tabor,

Who gave us Your Precious Body and Blood at the Last Supper,

Who agonized in the garden of Gethsemane,

Who were scourged for our transgressions,

Who were mocked and crowned with thorns,

Who carried Your Cross to Golgotha,

Who were crucified, died, and buried,

Who rose on the third day, that glorious first Easter,

Who ascended into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father,

Who sent the Holy Spirit on Pentecost,

Who assumed your mother, body and soul, into Heaven,

Who crowned your mother Queen of Heaven and Earth,

Are now present before me in form of this humble Host.

All glory, praise, and honor be to You, my Lord and my God.
