O most Holy Silent One Who beckons me with the radiance
of Your Love. You speak without words to the depths of my
heart. You call me. You beckon me. But it is not the ears that
hear but the heart.
I sit in silence longing to hear but my heart is not still enough
to hear. So, I sit in the radiance of Your Love that continues
to beckons me.
O dearest Lord, Silent Lover in the quiet of Your Eucharistic
Presence, still heart and mind that I may hear and respond to
You.
“What do You want of me?” my heart cries out. “I wish to
serve Thee.” But I cannot hear Your response, and yet
somehow, You beckon me deeper, closer, and envelope me.
And You are able to capture a fleeting moment of true silence
in my heart and say, “I just want to love you.”
The tears of joy and knowing stream down my face.
What a good and gracious God we have, Whose mercy and
Love endure forever!
Praise be to our God, now and forever!
Amen and thank You.
